STONEHOUSE PHARMACY

Free delivery service  - if you usually collect your prescription from the pharmacy but would like it delivered instead, call 0191 584 7586.  Please respect social distancing if picking up prescriptions.

 

WEST RAINTON SURGERY

If you have a general query, or need to request medication, call 0191 584 3809.

Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms of either a high temperatue or a new, continuous cough.  Do not go to the GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. If you have symptoms of the virus you need to stay at home for 7 days.  If you live with someone who has symptoms you need to stay at home for 14 days from the day the first person in the home started having symptoms.  Use the 111 coronavirus online service www.111.nhs.uk, only call 111 if you cannot get help online.  Call this service if you feel you can't cope with your symptoms at home, your condition gets worse, or your symptoms do not get better after 7 days.

 

BELLS PETROL STATION

Free delivery available for those over 70, or in vulnerable groups self isolating and/or unable to leave their home.  Support prioritised for those who have no one to help in getting the essential supplies.  Newspapers, bread, milk and eggs along with other items usually in the garage available.

Call 0191 584 2813.  Payment in cash on delivery with name and address in envelope or payment over the phone direct to the garage.  (organised by local community volunteers).

 

COSTCUTTER AND WEST RAINTON POST OFFICE

Delivery available by the shop for those over 70 or in vulnerable groups self isolating and/or unable to leave their home.  Payment in cash on delivery.  Call 0191 584 4214.

 

DEMENTIA STEERING GROUP

If anyone is living with dementia or memory loss or has a family member who is and need some additional support during this time, please get in touch wrldementiafriends@outlook.com or 07443 912860.  We also have contact details for the Alzheimer's Society Durham team.
